About Build

Build started as a website at 2am in a static caravan in Kent.

The plan was written because the country is broken and the fixes are obvious and nobody's doing them.

The fiscal model exists because "how will you pay for it" deserves an actual answer, not a slogan.

The citizen stories exist because policy without people is just a spreadsheet.

The challenge page exists because a plan that can't survive criticism isn't a plan.

No photo. No CV. No "about the leader" section. The work is the introduction. The person is secondary to the plan.

A note on how this site was made

The person behind Build is dyslexic. Getting the vision out of his head and onto the page the old way would have taken years. So AI was used — not to come up with the ideas, but to put them down faster. Every policy, every number, every character in the stories, every line of the plan: came from him. The drafting, the formatting, the typing — that's where the AI helped. The thinking is human. The writing was sped up so the thinking could get out.

This site is honest about that because honesty is the whole point. If the ideas had been generated by a machine, the machine would have stopped at "no profit before service" being a slogan. It's not. It's a doctrine. A machine doesn't have a caravan in Kent.
